Ustorp - 57 ha

Land type
Deciduous forest, mixed forest, spruce forest, semi-natural pasture, overgrown land, and meadows. Bordering a lake.
Nature Value Index (NVI): 2–4.

Management
Clearing of overgrown land, grazing by livestock and forest animals, and selective logging aimed at promoting broadleaf-dominated forest at the expense of spruce.

Stewardship status
The foundation has received a verbal confirmation from the landowner regarding a future usufruct agreement. The plan is to first sign a short-term contract (1–2 years). Once biodiversity units have been sold, a long-term agreement (minimum 20 years, with potential extensions) will be established.

Funding
Donation of usufruct rights.

Sinarp - 6 ha

Land type
Beech forest and alder swamp forest.
Nature Value Index (NVI): 2–3.

Management
Passive rewilding – the area is left for natural development without active intervention.

Stewardship status
A usufruct agreement of up to 49 years is in place, pending full funding.

Funding
Crowdfunding and biodiversity unit sales (BDE). SEK 112,000 already raised; approximately SEK 400,000 still needed.

Norra Björstorp - 9 ha

Land type
Mixed forest dominated by noble broadleaves, overgrown land, and open grasslands.

Management
Mainly passive rewilding, combined with active measures such as clearing of overgrown land, traditional pasture and forest grazing, hay meadow management, and selective clearing of older broadleaf trees. Some removal of spruce and low-conservation-value species. Management planning is in an early phase.

Stewardship status
Negotiations on a 20-year usufruct agreement are in the final stage, with intent to extend.

Funding
Donation of usufruct rights.

Görbjörarp - 5 ha

Land type
Broadleaf forest (both noble and common species), patches of mature pine forest, and overgrown former meadows and pastures.

Management
Clearing of overgrown areas, traditional grazing and forest grazing, hay meadow restoration, selective clearing around old broadleaf trees, and removal of young spruce. Remaining areas are left for natural development.

Stewardship status
Negotiations on a 20-year usufruct agreement are in the final stage, with intent to extend.

Funding
Based on a donation of usufruct rights and collaborative stewardship efforts.


 

Visne Ängar - 93 ha

Land type
Meadow, semi-natural pasture, overgrown land, mixed forest, pine forest, and managed grassland.
Nature Value Index (NVI): 1–4.

Management
The focus is on restoring pasture through clearing, traditional grazing, and hay meadow management. Other parts are left for natural development. A management plan is currently being developed.

Stewardship status
A formal three-year usufruct agreement (2025–2028) is in place, with the possibility of extension. The usufruct rights have been donated.

Funding
Stewardship is partly funded through grazing lease income. The foundation holds a first right of refusal to purchase the property. Additional funding is needed.

Mylle skog - 1,7 ha

Land type
Mixed forest dominated by noble broadleaves, bordering a stream.

Management
Passive rewilding – the area is left to natural development.

Stewardship status
The property is owned by the association. The foundation has applied for legal title.

Funding
Secured.
